intro, stuff, outro
hi.
in response to demands made, I am updating. strange, it's only been 5 days, and while somewhere between 3 and 5 days is my average between updates and I have been known to go six days without updating, for some reason someone thinks it's been too long without updating. They even thought that after a mere 2 days. Even though I explained when I started this that this was likely to be a sporadic thing. Strange, huh? Anybody care to comment on this? Anyone? Thursday perhaps? Something to say?
sadly I really haven't that much more to update with. I'm still excited, time seems to be passing slowly, when before it was flying. I hate it how time flies when you're having fun / not paying attention, but when you're waiting for something in particular time has a way of drawing things out.
I spent two days at work watching a co-workers homemade Simpsons anthology tape. Nothing like a solid eight hours of Simpsons with the commercials edited out. It's like a kind of zen enema. I even got to see the Silent Bob reference, two of the weird little pop culture things I dig come together, Simpsons and Silent Bob - it made my night.
I went to grab some last minute dinner last night and found myself cruising in the pyrat ship in the middle of a nice thunderstorm while La Mer came on the CD player. It was just a brief moment of contentment, but it made my night. Every once in a while I'll come across that - where for just a second, or a few minutes, everything feels right. I love and live for those moments.
Well Sammy's plight resolved - 76 bats xrayed, plus 5 from Cooperstown, all negative, 8 game suspension. And I imagine one very fired batboy. Ah well, his story checks out, and the Cubs move on. It'll suck for those eight games when they come along. Can he take the All Star game as one of them? I really don't care about Sammy anymore - but it stinks that the Cubs are doing quite well this year and are going to lose a solid hitter for 8 games and are not allowed to replace him.
Need to clean my room, go find a change of address form at the post office, and do something constructive. Ugh. Lethargy stinks. Anyway- hope all is well with all of y'all, and off I go to feel the wind in my face - Wa-Hoo Nooch!

Ah, nothing finer than eight solid hours of The Simpsons.
No, I'm fairly certain the house won't turn out like that house. Scary thought, indeed.
Stagnation is what needs to be avoided. When the mundane turns stagnant is when it feels as though you're listless and that the world lacks purpose. Balancing the mundane with a dose of excitement to keep the stagnation away is the fun part, I think.
