I am sure all of you have seen the LIVESTRONG bracelets out there.
All the money made from the sale of the arm bands goes to cancer research. Good stuff if you ask me, a fashion statement worth supporting. Well not in the place I work for. I won't name the company but we have our own arm bands now. They are yellow just like the live strong arm bands, except they don't say livestrong, they say beStrong. They look almost identical. The huge difference is the money for our arm bands, goes right in the pocket of the coperation.
The guy that trained me that works at another store in our district wrote the company a letter. His mother actually died of cancer so he was quite offended by it as would i have been. We all had him put our names on the letter. I think after he called all the stores in our district they all agreed to have their names put on the letter to have the arm bands taken out of the stores. They can't fire us all for writing the letter.

They can probably even be subjected to legal prosecution since they look so similar and say almost the exact same thing. A customer would most likely see those and think that they are actually the Live Strong bands.
