Mellyand I were hanging out at her place of employment, and there is this really annoying guy there. One of those types that tries to seem cooler than they ever will be, and by trying it just makes it worse. He asked me where to get scotch. I of course replied with "a liquor store". He said no, I'm looking for a good scotch. he wanted a 15 year scotch. Uh,...hey dumb ass that don't sale a 15 year. I told him to get a 12 year and wait 3 years. I don't think he liked that answer, but oh well.

I went to cover the Nellie Mckay show last night with Melly. Ok so she was the opening act for Bare Naked Ladies, and Alanis. I got to go down in the press photo pit. Most of the bands I cover are at smaller venues, so to be in an actually press pit was a new experience. I'm use to having free reign, but in a venue that big, they really limit you. Alanis really wasn't that bad, but the bare naked ladies was like watching a musical frat party. I half expected them to do keg stands. Nellie was great though, I love her to death. I have to get a move on though, I am getting ready for warped tour, and the 110 degree heat index.
