Yes this is the longest Journal Entry ever,.
Ok so we land in JFK, and find our way to the airtrain so we can get into the city. The subway ride in to the city was so long. I think the reason it felt so long was because of all the luggage we had, and I hate to look like a tourist, so I just wanted to get the luggage somewhere and leave it. We finally got to our room in SoHo, and we got screwed on the reservations. Five of us in a tiny hotel room. Maddy, Vashu, and Grayce in the bed, and Micah, and I on the floor. Not the best accommodations but we made it work. We ate a little mexican place around the corner called Pancho's, and as I write this that seems like we did that a month ago. We all went back to the hotel, and Maddy got ready to go perform for the fashion show at Arlene's Grocery, which is bar not a grocery. Turns out the fashion show wasn't much of a fashion show at all, but more like a burlesque show. A burlesque show with no rehearsal, no familiarity with the music nothing. Micah, Grayce, and I were dragged up on stage (it was planned) and we danced on stage with the girls, ( Aspen, Monica, Siv, Maddy, Edea, Brie, and Jaidee, I hope i didn't leave anyone out?) if you can call what we did dancing. For the most part Siv and I danced on the side of the stage, and talked about how neither of us can dance. At least she can look hot, and not dance well. I didn't have that option. Then we got a abused quite a bit with a cat of nine tails. Jaidee took a liking to beating the crap out of me, as did a few of the others. I think Brie was actually quite proud of kicking my ass, but it was all in good fun. Before the show even started JaiDee was walking around with a black dildo, and I caught the brunt of that a few times. On stage I caught some ridicule on stage, and Monica could see that I was pissed off I think, and she quickly kind of put the blinders on me before i could get to angry. She is an awesome girl, sweet as can be. Again, I think the way the girls were represented wasn't cool at all. If you ask a buch of girls to do a fashion show, do a fucking fashion show. Don't take advantage of their goodwill, and have them do anthing but model the clothes,....c'mon. We then went back to our room, and a guy name Tbiddles came by, he would be our tour guide.
Saturday Tbiddles took us all to what would come to be know as Crazy Ivan's for breakfast. Turns out they were greek, but whatever. If you weren't ready to order when he got to you, he would move on to the next person. Ivan's didn't play no games. we went to Central Park, and then walked all the shops, or I should say we fallowed Grayce. That girls loves to shop, I mean she freak'en loves it. The word of the day was WEEEEEEEEEEEE. When ever we herd that we knew we were in trouble, no big deal though, I still love her. We met up with my friend Sean later that day. I went to middle school, high school together, and a bit of college, and now he live in NY. It was awesome to see him, and we hung out and went to an Indian restaurant. I think everybody took to Sean. He is the type guy that can get along with anyone. I better stop writing about him before I miss him anymore.
Sunday the weather sucked ass, and we went to the Guggenheim. I was not impressed at all. I thought I liked modern art,....turns out i was wrong. Painting a canvas one color does not constitute art. There was some good stuff in there, but it was few and far between. By this time we are all become kind of fed up with each other, and we were ready to kill each other I think. Not to say we don't love each other because we do, but you put five people with strong personalities in a small hotel room together people are going to rub each other the wrong way. Some of us went to the Upright Citizens Brigade, and some of us didn't. The UCB was awesome, they were so funny, and It kind of made us all feel better.
Regardless we all kind of split up in Monday. They went to the aquarium, Maddy has a thing for fish, and Micah, and I went to Time Square. Later we went back to the room to rest, and get ready for the night. I forgot something in Time Square so I decided to go back down there, and nothing against anybody I was with, but i just wanted to be by myself. Little side note: If you want time to yourself, don't go to Time Square. It was raining and I got soaked, and lost, but I found my way back. I got a train back, and just thought about how content I was with us blowing off the Arlene's Grocery awards show, even though the guiy appologized to me. I got a call while in the subway telling me that said JaiDee was lonely and she wanted us to meet her at Arlene's Grocery. I went back to the room, got cleaned up, and went to the bar. I thought I would get abused JaiDee, but she was actually really sweet. Still wild as all hell, but sweet as can be. We danced to what seemed to be a metal cover band while people would get on stage and live out their rock and roll fantasies. JaiDee took to beating the crap out of all the guys in the audience within close proximity. Jax showed up later, and she hung out. She came across very quiet, and stand offish at first, but once she warmed up she was a real cool chick. I hope they didn't think I was trying to be a tough guy. The crowd got a bit rowdy, and maybe a bit handsy with the girls. Now I know that can handle themselves, but I told them if they needed my assistance to just say the word. I think it came out the wrong way, like I was looking for a fight. I am just very protective. I just hope Jax didn't think I was trying to be Billy Bad Ass. When we left JaiDee held my face in her hands, and told me i was cute, and to never change. That really meant a lot to me, Those girls are great. That was a perfect way to cap off the trip. The next day, I will spare you the details, the entry is already to damn long, let's just say we got home. A huge thank you to everyone who made our trip a memorable one.
