Hello everyone,
As some of you may have heard, Aleppo has been in the blender for a while now, and, relatively recently, the Syrian Governmental forces have made significant advances within the past few days. The recent news, however, is that civilians are being massacred in the city's streets. Based on the reports that I have heard, I have yet to decide whether this is the result of a government plan, or their soldiers and allies having slipped the leash. Regardless, this is fundamentally a wicked thing to do.
However, this leaves two options:
1) The Syrian government ordered these massacres to convince the other holdouts to surrender.
or
2) They no longer have control of their soldiers.
Both options are equally horrifying.
