ever had anything fall into your lap before??? well im currently working at a bookstore and currently getting sick of working there and the catty little shit people pull on a daily basis... and walking in feeling like everyone just stopped talking about me cuz theyre jealous that my boss likes me better than them cuz im more responsible at the age of 22 than they are at 35! what the fuck...
Anyway on thursday (after being 45 minutes late to my job) i got a text message from my friend steph. She works down at Macy's in downtown boston while going to school full time... she is only part time but had been temping in the executive offices in the basement. So she txts me asking if i would be interested in a full time job over there that they are trying to fill. I was like "HELL FUCKIN YEA... i mean yes please" Cuz first off i make 8 an hour and average about 25-30 hours a week at the bookstore... this job would pay 11 per hour and 40 hours a week so what do you think i did...
Well i told my current boss that i was going to an interview and that if i get the job im gone asap and i feel bad for bouncing but my kids gotta eat yknow... ok for further clarification my kids are my 1985 Ford Crown Victoria, and my 2001 Suzuki sv650, and my raging alcohol dependency.
So i went to this interview today and im pretty sure i got the job... the guy was like i have to interview one more girl who doesnt have your qualifications but shes an internal promotion possibility.... blah whatever its politics... i should know by tuesday if i get it or not.
Oh yea not to mention... this shit gives bennies mutha fucka yea thats right medical dental etc... stock options... yea so im pretty psyched... Anyway below is what the job entails... i know it sounds like a glorified secretary, and it kinda is but i honestly dont mind. i dont have to ring customers up for 7 hours a day anymore if i get the job so ill take it!
