Everything is ok.
After the year I've had that thought seems strange; out of place. My arm doesn't hurt. Nothing hurts really, and I don't need painkillers to feel that way. Bills are paid, there's food in the cupboard, and even some money left over. There are no horrors looming on the horizon, and I can't find any lurking under the bed. It's been so long I don't quite know what to make of it. This return to normalcy has got me a little rattled, but I'm adjusting.
I started looking at apartments again. My target date to move is October 1st. I'm definitely looking for somewhere on the East side of the river, preferably with lots of things within walking distance. There are some apartments right near Lloyd Center I'm going to check out. They have air conditioning, so they are my number one pick for where I want to live.
Yeah, life is good at the moment. Good and slow. Nothing happening, and nothing imminent about to happen. It's awesome.

d_day:
I'm glad things are going well. Really wish we could have gotten together while I was up there though.
