You remember that surgery? Yeah, false alarm. It didn't happen. What did happen is my nephrologist and I had a miscommunication about what was going on. See, he did schedule me for me surgery, and I did show up for the surgery he scheduled. It just happens that the surgery I was scheduled for was on my arm, and had nothing to do with my peritoneal catheter. So when I started asking the surgeon, "Uh, what the hell are you talking about? I'm not here about my arm." there was a bit on confusion on both our parts.
Well it's all cleared up now. Whatever is wrong with the catheter, they don't think it requires surgery, and I'm not having any yet. I got to spend a day in a hospital (which, as I'm sure you know, is always the best way to spend a day), and I didn't have to get cut open.

Not getting cut is awesome. Maybe not as awesome as putting your guy bits in some girly bits. but pretty awesome nonetheless.
