mothers day: my mother passed away a few years ago which always makes this day a bit sad. but at least it was spent with good friends. and to all of you lucky people who did celebrate it with your mothers, well , i hope you all had a good time.

more new pictures....and a stack of playboys from 1964 that are awesome.


(i make photographs and stuff. mostly i prefer to syle things using vintage clothing and accesories. i like the texture of old things. i usually use my old hasselblad, or an old polaroid SX-70 which is an awesome camera. i prefer to use natural light.

i really admire the work of albertine . i must say i think she is really talented. being a woman, photographing women probably has advantages . i always admire that female photographers manage to keep a sense of mystery in their work that men rarely do. i think men can, but it may be harder somehow for them.

i would love to use a hassablad if i could afford to get one. ive only used one once.
i like the holga because of its imperfections, i like how i can tell that its from a holga.
i actually have grown to hate 35mm in a regular SLR (and of course digital, i only use digital for when im taking fun pitcures with frends). its so boring and ordinary
i like cameras that take a little work to operate, it makes the final result even more worthwhile
