hi world,
so i started summer school, and surprisingly, i'm having a blast. the class is super interesting and the teacher is anything but stoic during her fascinating lectures
there is a lot of reading for homework, but i've kept up and have been doing it. i'm planning on getting an A in this class. (women in history).
we're still in the process of building hannibal and bruce's hutch. hannibal isn't too nice to bruce... i'm a little concerned. hannibal lunges and nips at bruce whenever he walks by and chases him angrily out of his "territory." other than that, they're kind of indifferent to each other. i've been advised not to house them together, but i've also read stories of people that have had it work out, so i'm taking it slowly to see what works best for my animals. i'm thinking, when they're moved to the outside hutch, where no territory has yet been claimed, that things might soften up a bit and work out. however, it could go the opposite way. if that happens, no biggie, we'll just install a wall down the center of the hutch. another thing is that there are two bunkers in the hutch (like, animal houses), and one of them is only guinea pig sized, so bruce could run in there if hannibal is picking on him. i don't know yet... we'll have to complete the hutch (making it weather proof and animal proof at this point), and then put them in there and watch intently for a day or two. in either or any case however, i need to buy a bale of hay for them and another water bottle. i'll probably do that today.
other stuff... not much. i rented the final cut with robin williams. hopefully that'll be a good movie. hunter and i are getting along great and happily in love again. so that's good. i guess life is pretty good right now, and definitely interesting with the class i'm taking and the new pet to tend to.
well, that's all for now.
later gators,
