hi world,

i'm quite giddy right now. i just bought my new guinea pig. i named him bruce and he's an abyssinian. he and hannibal don't seem to be having too many problems, although hannibal was acting a little territorial. they seem rather indifferent to each other.

i picked out bruce because he seemed like the most lively and friendly. all the other guinea pigs would just flee when you stuck your hand in at the pet store, but bruce was all relaxed and chill and let me pet him.

so yeah, now he's staying in hannibal's crate until we can move him outside in the hutch with hannibal. my parents don't know about bruce yet, and i bet they'll flip, but oh well. i'm 18 now, lol.
