What's new in my life...
So today I'm selling my dad's surfboard for him and he's giving me a big cut of the money. I'm going to use it to get my tongue pierced twice this week. I'm not afraid of the pain at all, I'm just a little nervous about the swelling and healing time afterward. I might take out my monroe if I think it all looks to over-bearing conerning the metal. For those unfamiliar with this piercing, it'll look like this:
If my tongue however is too short, they do it more horizontally and it's called a "venom" piercing.
Other stuff... I'm getting my contacts this week. I'm pretty stoked about that. I've had contacts before but didn't wear them very much. My eyes are so bad now that I wear my glasses all the time though, so I figure contacts will be perfect for me now. Just clear though... Colored is too expensive.
I took Ritalin yesterday instead of Adderall to test it out on me and see if it's a good med choice for my ADD. I had to take a lot of it for it to work, it didn't get me as spun as the Adderall and I was able to eat and sleep at night. I really didn't like how it felt though and today I woke up with a feeling of impending doom, which I'm positive was anxiety left over from it leaving my system. I also had horribly awful and weird dreams. So today I took my Adderall again, but took it much earlier in the day, hoping it'll wear off in time for me to go to bed at a reasonable hour tonight.
I've been kind of manic lately... It sucks. Oh well though, that's life. I refuse to take bipolar meds, they're too harsh on the system in my opinion. I've taken them before and hated them.
Other things... Not a lot. Just been chillin'. Class starts this Monday so I'm mentally preparing for that. It should be an interesting class though.
Guess that's all. Life is life.
