The Burlesque show is tonight. I am excited to get to meet (in person) so many of the people that I have met on this site.

I am more honest, personal, and comfortable with the people that I have met here than I am with most of the people that I come into contact with every day in person.
Do you have the same feeling? Is it the strange mix of selective anonymity that gives us security? I think it's easier to be honest when you can't see the reaction in the eyes of the person you are saying things to. What do you think? yes, I like to take polls, bite me.

I know what you mean. It's easy to be open on SG because it is a welcoming niche. Can't say the same for my job or school. I try to be myself everywhere, but some things aren't appropriate in certain contexts. But with my wife and good friends I am pretty open indeed. Family, that is another story.
