Life altering decisions are just around the bend, dangerous curves ahead.....
I have been bullshitting about college since I graduated high school (like um 5 years ago). Now I am seriously (really, this time) contemplating taking a concentrated run at it....change is a mutha'. Not to mention that Virginia is for Lovers and all, but this is the ONLY place I've ever lived and I am sooooo ready for a change. I have decided to go to community college for a semester or two (WITHOUT blowing off classes on a regular basis like I did when i was younger and dumber) and then transfer the hell out of VA. My only problem is that I have no idea how to go about choosing a school. I thought that once I made the decision to do this that there would be some comfort going about the task. Now I am haunted with questions, doubts, and general confusion. I do know that I want to work with digitial images, graphic design, and photography. That is supposed to narrow it down, right?

Try to pick a school in a climate and geography that you like and one that won't leave you in major debt by the time you get your diploma.
All that said, and this is the hard part, where will you want to be in five years? Where will you NOT want to be? Most of my life I operated on trying to get what I wanted, but lately I think it's just as important to know what you DON'T WANT and work from there.
