So, by this time next week I'll be in California (for the first time). I'm upset because I'm going to miss the get-together in Syracuse for a pre-Halloween/housewarming for Cereal_Killer and Trinity, it should be a lot of fun (and I miss certain ex-sg's and members that I haven't seen in so long).
Anyway, other than that. Not much is new. I just started reading Birds of Prey by John Ralston Saul and I heartily recommend it for anyone that is a fan of non-fiction intrigue/mystery. As an interesting side-note (because this journal entry has already been so interesting) Saul's married to Adrienne Clarkson (the Governor General of Canada) and the first time I ever heard his name was during a book-tour of his when he lectured at Convocation Hall at UofT.
Afterwards, I picked up Voltaire's Bastards: The Dictatorship of Reason in the West, which is probably one of the best books I've ever read.
Exciting enough for ya? ;P
