On a recommendation I picked-up Lamb by Christopher Moore and wow.
It's not only funny as hell (I mean, really funny. I was actually laughing out loud on the bus the other day.) but the theology and brazen poke at conventional "history" (in quotes because historical references to religious figures are always questionable given the enormous bias usually associated with the writer's motives.) is just preposterous (at one point in the book, Jesus is actually studying Buddhist philosophy with 21 monks - for 6 years!).
Anyway. That's pretty much all that's new here. Work's hectic, and I just keep slackin' away even though I know it's going to bite me in the ass sooner or later.
Oh well. C'est la vie.
Get the book.
I also realize that the above parentheses situation renders the middle paragraph unintelligible, but whatever. It's just a bloody journal entry.
