We had a scare with Weasel. She swallowed chunks of a hard rubber chew toy and became really sick. We were given the option to put her down, or pay a lot for surgery. Thankfully my parents are wonderful, and would rather have Weasel than less debt! The vet was really sweet and took off $200 from the cost.

Heh, it's unusual but I wouldn't say "insane"...especially since I have this odd connection with dogs. I swear I had to have been one in my past life if such a thing exists. 
I'd love to read the Lenore comics (comics?), because theyre probably sooo cute... But the kitties... I can't handle that! If I see another little pair of Xes for eyes I'm sure I'll cry. I love those little kitties though I've never met them. And I'll never get to meet them now!!
