I've got a couple of videos to share, the first of the professional division final of the Bitburg Open Millennium Series Event. It's between American team Houston Heat and French team Tontons. Having only seen this video today myself I found this match incredible! Tonstons were down 4:2 on points with a 1:15 left on the clock (out of a starting 20 minutes), in order to force overtime they would need to win 2 consecutive points in 1:15 minutes, a very tall order indeed, to put it in perspective, it had take nearly 19 minutes to play 6 points, over 3 minutes a point.
Tontons not only won the 2 points in that time frame, they won 3! Which gave them the win without needing overtime. To win 1 point in 20 seconds at the pro level in phenomenal, to win 3 in a row in 20 seconds each when you are the underdogs is a massive massive upset.
It's a long video, if you get bored just skip to 17 minutes in, then when they start standing around talking (the ref's needed to make a big decision about a point) skip again to 27 minutes. But if you have the time watch it all, it will give you a huge insight into the sport.
This is an interview of my team on The Paintball Show which runs on Sky channel 192 in the UK, which is a paintball tv channel :P
I was unable to make it so you won't see me, the bald guy is our coach.
