You may have noticed I uploaded a few paintball photo's. The last 2 a very exciting for me, they're event posters for a major scenario game that takes place in Wales each year, why are they exciting for me? Because they feature me :P This isn't something I get paid for or anything, they where taken at a previous event they've just used on their posters. Quite simply it just strokes my ego as a player :P
Though the same company is my tournament teams new sponsor and we're going to be their flagship team, what do we get? Paintballs nearly £10 a box cheaper than before, significant kit deals, I'll first team having won Division 1, will be playing in the Elite Division of CPPS which is the highest division of the top competition in the UK, essentially it's the equivalent of the English Premier League for football, except we're still paying for the priviledge, just discounted :P
They will be filming all our first teams game's at least, possibly our team 2 and 3 and personal posters of all our players for display at events and various other occasions. Being this companies flagship team puts us in a very prominent position, we're by no means the UK's top team or pro, that title goes to London Nexus, the UK's only pro team. But this is the same company that recently launched a paintball tv channel in the UK (Sky 192) so we'll get a lot of exposure and coverage.
