I'm desperate to go to Rebellion Festival, the line up is too impossibly good, but all of my punk friends are going to another festival called "Boomtown" that weekend, which doesn't have a line up as good as Rebellion, going to a gig on your own is one thing, but a 4 day festival is quite another :/
Something positive, I'm starting to realise I'm an adult, it's taken me long enough
This is because of the way some people younger than myself look up to me, there's a guy on my scenario paintball team (he's 17) who ended up massively overdrinking the Saturday at NvS, the next day he tried to make it to the game but threw up, when I returned to campsite a few hours later to get something from my car he was still in a bad way, I gave him a can of coca cola and a bag of sweet to get some sugar in his system and since then he's had a very clear respect and really looks up to me.
This last weekend at Campaign cup, one of my team mates brought their kids, they were about 5, and they really attached to me to say the least, watching me play a game on my phone, playing with my car, wanting me to play games with them all weekend, and you know what? I actually enjoyed it, I've never really had much experience in dealing with young kids before and it's good to know I'm actually capable with them, though I'm definitely a long way from wanting any of my own still
One last thing that should be negative but is actually a massive positive, I've finally found out that my ex did almost certainly cheat on me and may have even been to the point of having an affair. I was so happy I actually jumped up and did this
I've been informed her anniversary with the guy is this weekend, now me and her went on a "2 week trial" break on the 9th July last year, breaking up fully 2 weeks later, so she was technically still with me. You don't go from just friends to full blown relationship in just 3-4 days, I also know he told he liked her in that way while we were still together, so to my mind there is no doubt she had to have been dating him while still with me.
Please tell me if you agree or not and I'm not just jumping to wild conlcusions?
Anyway it's given the last bit of closure I needed, as it pretty much answers the questions I still had, I now know she was clearly not worth it and no good. This is the last time I will talk about her, she's done with, in the past and I'm looking to bright future!

Why would they rather go to another gig? If Rebellions line up is better makes more sense to go to that one. Also, you may want to go see if there's a comment area on their site, or a Facebook page for it. Maybe you can find someone to hang out with that way. I know tons of people have met up on Warpeds fb page. Hitching rides together and what not. Might be an option for you.
