So, I'm just laying on the couch watching TV here on a bored Friday night (tonight) and my phone rings.
It's one of my best friends who resides in Los Feliz.

"Hey Eric, I got someone here that wants to talk to you..."
"Ok cool"

I didn't know...I just went with it.

"Hello...Eric?
"Yes....who's this?"
"This is David!"

He had kind of an older dude/drunken slur...maybe a bit of a southern drawl.
I don't know how the fuck I called it, but....

"David....? David Yow?"
"Yeah! How're ya doin?"
"Son of a bitch!"
"@#!)er cunt!"
"Wow man....holy shit, I'm a big fan of your work!"
"Thank ya. I love it when people call it 'work'"
"What in the hell are you up to...?"
"I'm just drinking here at the bar...'The Roost', trying to get drunk and I ran into your buddies here."

The conversation went on for a couple of minutes about what he's been up to, etc.
That was fucking cool. My Friends are funny.
I gotta get back down there. It's a fun place.


I sure do love the Jesus Lizard though. One of a kind.
