I really think sometimes the best thing you can do is to look the other person right in the grill and tell them you love them. Just make sure that you're sending that message with every fiber of your being, and everyone will feel better. It's not a replacement for overall communication, but it helps.

I read it twice and personally it sounds like he likes you, maybe your announcement threw him for a loop, he'll get over it.

i honesly doubt that he likes me, he is someone who i hardly ever talk to but have known for years now. he is engaged as well to be married and has never even once hinted at feelings for me. we have never talked about anything except our current relationships and family...i dunno...but i dont mind keeping him out of my life because it is not such a big loss any way. i just posted the convo because i was extremely pissed off at the things he said and how it made me feel. i guess it is just the fact that being engaged to the man of my dreams, i really never expected there to be any negative feedback. and the fact that he was telling me that life is not a fairytale..like i didnt already know.
