I Like The Name Mikey!
Its been one of those low key weekends for me, which is kinda good considering I haven't had one of these kinds of weekends in forever it seems! I went to Diamonds again on Friday nite & got to see peachygrrl, she's so cool & friendly & nice, definitely one of the reasons I seem to be going there so often these days. Plus, the hot nekkie ladies & the comfortable atmosphere helps too, but its probably not a good idea that I'm going to a strip club when I'm unemployed & the only income I have coming in is unemployment! But Saturday was cool, went out to Reynoldsburg for a punk rawk show put on by my buddie Keith @ Midgard as well as my buddy Matt @ Hussieskunk.com (punk rawk internet radio station based out of Columbus). Everybody should go check em out, they play some good shit! But the show was cool, always good seeing the younger kids out, even if it does make me feel like an old fart! But I got to hang out with whatshisnuts & littlechaos which was cool. I saw some pretty good bands, favorites being L3FT & of course my good buddies Legbone, its just not the same seeing Legbone when people aren't moshing in a frenzy, but I still had a good time! Hung out with the guys for a bit after their set, even met some guys who were there to see Legbone who came all the way from Troy like I did, pretty cool! I stayed & saw Downtrodn! After that I got hooked up with some cool new Hussieskunk swag like their new comp, 2 shirts, a hat & a bunch of flyers which was cool. Big props to my buddy Matt for the hookup!!! I called it a nite after the show. No plans today really, but who knows. So that was the jist of my weekend, nothing too exciting really!
I'm job hunting something fierce this coming week, hopefully I can get something! I'm thinking about going back & trying to get my old job back, would be nice cause I'd probably get all my vacation & insurance back, but thats a last resort, and I really dont wanna go back there if I don't have to, cause the pay there sucks ass! But I'm almost getting desperate at this point, I miss working! Its even really depressing me as time goes by & I'm not doing anything productive with my time, I hate it! So hopefully I can get my shit together & find a job! Anybody that knows of anything, let me know!!!
Next weekend is the Pink House Party in Cleveland, I cant wait!!! And the following weekend is kellyjanice's bday...lots of good times to be had. Looking forward to hanging out with old friends & meeting new ones, I can't wait!
I want to move to Columbus, really bad!!!
