This past 4th Of July weekend was probably the BEST that I've had in as long as I can remember. Here's kinda how it went down...
Friday:
I left for Richmond,VA around 9am... but didnt actually hit the road till around 10:30am. I hit up a music store to pick up the new Liz Phair & also was curious & picked up the Avril Lavigne cd. They're ok! A long boring drive... felt like I was falling asleep at times.. oh wait.. I think I actually was! Endured the 9 hour drive to Richmond & was at Tryst's & Raquel's place by around 7:30-8ish. We chilled for awhile.. just hung out & shot the shit. Twas fun of course! Then, we hit up this pizza joint called Bottoms Up I think. Killer pizza... in which I ordered a whole pizza (it was a medium) but only ate like 3 pieces... and I ended up leaving those 3 pieces that were left at Tryst & Raquel's place so I hope they enjoy the leftover food I left them. I'm sure they did! Then, some more chllin' at their pad... and then we decided to get a hotel room for the weekend. Yeah, so we found a cool Best Western & got ourelves a nice room & the hotel had a pool which we were all about. We pretty much just chilled & watched cable most of the night since we knew we had a ton of things to do on Saturday. I think we ended up watching the South Park movie along w/ some other episodes of South Park. It ruled!!! I think we all finally fell asleep by around 4am.
Saturday:
Lemme think.. cant really remember what time we woke up... but it was late morning. We tried our luck again w/ the St James river (which is actually just called the James river but I'm gonna continue calling it the St. James river anyways)... but yet again... the river was too high to swim in. HUGE BUMMER!!! We ended up going back to our hotel.. but not before going to Kroger to get some alcohol (Smirnoff Ice baby!) & then to a party store to get some fake blood (more on that later). So we ended up just going to the pool at our hotel & swimming there which was still fun. It wasnt the same though! But, we did get some nice sun... and the pool was pretty empty which was cool. Raquel even went to the weight room & got a nice workout after we swam too! Then, we came back & chilled... and Raquel got ready for her photo shoot. We did her photo shoot... and it was a ton of fun. Just think... blood (fake of course)... swords... a komono dress. We're hoping a soon to be SG gal! I cant reveal her SG name... but hopefully you all will know it soon enough. Anyways, the shoot was alot of fun & the pics turned out great! Then, Tryst & I did a half hours worth of shots of Smirnoff... and we both got pretty darn buzzed. I sure as hell did! It was a great time & we have some hilarious pics I hope to post soon from this weekend. Pretty darn funny!!! After our buzz wore down.. we all went to TGIFridays for some chow. That was nice & pretty good too! Got back to our room & did some more chillin... then Tryst & Raquel wanted to sneak into the pool which was closed. So... we all went snuck downstairs & outside to the pool... and Tryst & Raquel jumped the fence & went swimming. I played the innocent bystander & didnt do it... but played lookout for them. They of course skinny dipped... and I had the pleasure of watching them do that. Yeah, right... I was playing lookout... NOT!!! I dont think they cared... as it was all in good fun! I think we had a couple of close calls... but we / they got away with it. Tryst knocked this trash can over when she was climbing back over the fence...and Raquel & I split as it was quite loud. Nobody heard it though... so operation sneak into pool was a HUGE success. After that, we all came back to the room & just chilled & watched cable & fell asleep finally. Quite the long day.. but it sure was fun!!!
Sunday:
Raquel was up by around 9am... and I ended up waking up around 10ish. We had to checkout by 11. After checkout... went to Tryst & Raquel's place where I chilled just for a bit more before I hit the road back to Ohio. I left Richmond,VA round 1pm & got back to Ohio around 10:30 that night. Yet, another long drive.. but the whole weekend was most definitely worth the 1400 miles & 18 hours of driving I had to endure. I would do it again in a second... in fact I am Labor Day weekend...

Ohh!! Oh my, how sweet, you've added me as one of your faves...
Answering your question "a little" late, sorry!! What kind of things do I like to do on my free time: there are LOTS.. I like to dance, bike, hike, do some yoga, draw, paint, write, be with my bunnies, obsess about pretty girls, go canooeing, watch good films (mostly indie), listen to music, travel, dream about running away with a circus, you know, all that ordinary stuff? How about you, what do you like to do?
