I guess it's time for another update on what's going on.
Julie wants to have kids, a family, etc. I do not. So, in an effort to keep us from resenting each other we have decided to let go.
At the end of our lease she's either going to move back to California to be near her parents or to DC to be with her sister.
I, on the other hand, will stay here in Seattle.
That leaves us with the inevitable weirdness. We've decided to end the relationship, but we still live together.
It's going to be hard, but I think it's going to be best for both of us.

It is the hardest thing ever, especially if you are still living together, I had to do that exact same thing earlier this year and it wasn't that mutual so it was shit. Good luck, sounds like you have both made the right decision
