When I was a senior in high school, I lived in a small village outside of Ramstein Air Force Base in Germany.
For a little while there, I had a paper route. Actually, I just filled in for our usual paper gal while she was on vacation for about 2 months, but that was long enough for me to establish a nice routine.
Wake up at 2 am, hit the pickup spot, load up my car with papers, then sit and fold for a little while, then head out.
I had a route that took me through 6 of the little villages around my own, and I worked it out to end up back at my place in time to eat breakfast then head to school.
While I drove, I had one tape to keep me company. Megadeth's Youthanasia. I know every song by heart now because of that 2 month gig delivering papers, and now whenever I hear one I'm brought back to the buttcrack of dawn, sunrise coming up over the trees as I drive between villages with a stack of newspapers on the passenger seat.
I love the fragrance of memory...

But yeah, some folks get a bit too caught up in politics. Stop, take a look around and get things back into their proper perspective.
