Hey SG Friends and Neighbors,
I hope this finds you well and good.
Its a mixed bag this week at El Casa Del Punkinhead. The lovely lady of the house received some very bad Grad School news the bastards at her department are trying to cut her stipend, claiming that she never should have been offered that much money in the first place. This after we have moved and leased an apartment for a year budgeting what we thought we could afford. We are fighting it but things do not look good.
So money is going to be tight. I am putting off my new computer, canceling a few online services and doing some all-around belt tightening.
Other than that things are okay. Punkerella and Captain Ebay spent the night on Saturday we went out and did a great pub crawl here in Athens. The goal was fourteen drinks at fourteen bars, but we had only made eight by the times everything started to shut down (2AM here in town) so we had to call it a night. Its cool, it just means that we have to have a part II.
Captain Ebay tries my patience. Not all the time, but sometimes. He is really into stuff he knows about fabric, about furniture manufacturers and jewelry makers. He comes to my house and 1) inventories all my furniture, electronics, etc, telling me what is quality and what isnt. Then all he wants to talk about is all the great stuff he owns, and how cheaply he got it, and where he got it, how hes not one hundred percent happy with it and what he is looking to replace it with. It gets old. Worst part is, he has my sister doing the same nonsense. Other than that I figure hes an okay guy he makes Punkerella happy, that much is for sure. But jeeze can we talk about something else?!?
Sunday my folks came to town. Great to see the Home Team, as always. We wound up going to belated Birthday Dinner with Mr. Hardcore and Ms. Dixie. That was cool, had an amazing meal at our local pricy Italian place. Thanks, mom and dad!
So life goes on. I am sort of thinking about a new job. More as it comes up.
Anyway, must run. Nothing but love SG!!!
Take it light,

Taoist thought of the day: Your breathing goal should be: deeper, slower, quieter and more regular.
Cat Report: We discussed and debated and we are getting a new cat! We went to the animal shelter this weekend, found an adorable little girl and put in our application. Wish us luck!
Factoid: What I got for my birthday:
A weight rack
A cool Hawaiian shirt
Gift certificate for a half-assed restaurant
3 DVDs
Two big bottles of Jagermeister
Currently digging: pasta with vodka sauce, Zatochi the blind swordsman, the freaky sneaky, dancing in the kitchen
I hope this finds you well and good.
