Hello Folks,
I hope this finds everyone well and good. Its a blustery day here in GA, and I'm enjoying my coffee while my cats battle for couch supremacy.
I have been extremely lucky. I just got a load of cash owed to me from a company I used to work for. Its an absolute life-saver. I am now able to pay off my lap-top, buy some new running shoes and generally wallow in a sense of fiscal security I haven't had in more than a year. Ahhhhh . . .
But that wasnt the reason for yesterjournal's smilies. No, that same day BG and I had a lovely - I say again most lovely - encounter that left me helplessly grinning. The fact that I had just lost two pounds of stress might have something to do with it - everything is better when you are relaxed - but who can say. All I know is I was feeling good. Gooooooood.
I absolutely have to quit my server job. They are going to split my Saturday - where I used to have the whole resturant, now Im going to have to share it with another server. That will cut my tips in half, and since its the only day I make any real cash its not going to work for me. Too bad - I realy enjoy waiting tables. The work is a good juxtaposition to my writing (social vs. solitary, physical vs. seditary).
Well, today I have a job interview for a position I hope will help me buy a new house. Cross an appendage for me friends.
Love for you SG. Love for you, Community.

Cat Report: Night before last I decide I can go naked to my laptop and look something up before I go to sleep. It was dark, and I didn't see the cat on the chair. I was just standing there and dangling and it must have been too much for Cali to resist. She clawed Little Elvis and Jezus H. Crhisty did it hurt. It was like having a migraine in my johnson. That was a bad, bad moment. I had a second of "Why the fuck do I even feed these ungrateful goddamn freeloaders?!?" Of course I got over it.
Factoid: I used to date a girl whose dad was shot by the famous University of Texas tower shooter. He survived, but had passed on by the time she and I met.
