Welp, I had my interview for the electrical apprentiship yesterday, I think it went pretty good! Now after waiting 2 years for the interview I have to wait 2 to 4 weeks to find out my rank in the applicant pool. Then I have up to another 2 years before they call a class and if they dont I have to reapply and start the process all over. When they call a class they go by the rank numbers...so the first class would be something like #1 - 30 and they may or may not call another class from my group, I hope im in the top 10. I dont know what Ill do if I dont get called, im not enjoying being a laborer. Its not like the work is hard, its just boring. That and I work with asbestos and other hazardous materials that can potentially kill you and I wont have to do that anymore if I make the apprentiship. So im keeping my fingers crossed for the next couple of weeks...
