Basically, "new way of administering oxygen to the blood which could allow people to stay alive without breathing"
The gist of this is that a scientist developed a technique to keep people alive by injecting oxygen rich blood into people. The article lists as a possible benefactor from this patients that are expecting surgery.
The need to have a breathing tube in your mouth is no longer evident. As the technology progresses, you could go to surgery, get your injection, and wake up later without the uncomfortable breathing tube. As speaking from experience, this isn't a bad idea. Breathing tubes suck.
HOWEVER We're just tapping into the possible benefits of this.
THE REAL AWESOMENESS will be that I could hold my breath under water way longer than I could before. Imagine that shit. . Also, the nevermind album cover doesn't really look out of place anymore.
More importantly we could store syringes with the blood into elevators. We could house them in signs that say this.
I mean look at this travesty. Those poor breathing people. Think of the polluted air that they were forced to endure.
Someday our society can look back at today, and say NEVER AGAIN!
