Just back from band practice...bit tired, but thought I'd do a bit of an update...
Have my 6 month review at work tomorrow so I'm hoping that goes well...wish me luck. I'm pretty sure it'll be fine...just to what level of severity is the important thing (going for a pay rise...so i need all the luck i can get).
I also have my first bass lesson tomorrow. I was on www.activebass.com just getting up to speed on a few scales and things and i started playing this riff that was at bottom of one of the lessons and it sounded really good, so i learn the rest of it. turns out i just learnt half of Bach's prelude in G. My friend was well impressed (the only friend i have who knows anything about classical music), and I was fairly happy too..been so long since I challenged myself with something like that.
really excited about my tattoo...but i think I'm going to have to wait for a little bit before i can start it as I have to pay my council tax
poo. But anyway - it;'s going to be traditionally styled, and I'm going to have a sky, mountains water type thing - but then have robot samurai kinda in and around the background. I'm not very artisitcally minded...so I'll have to wait for Ade to draw it up before i can really tell if I'm going to like it...but..he seemed really positive that it would look good.
he told me it'll take about 12 hours and 700...so i gotta get saving...

Anyway...I'm sure nobody is reading these post's I'm putting up - but it doesn't really matter...every now and then I look back and read my old posts. brings a smile to my face for various reasons...
