Life changes fast when you least expect it. I had neck surgery 2 months ago and now I am going through a divorce. A divorce that I did not see coming at all. He says he has been seeing her for 3 years and is in love with her. He will be moving out on March 10th.
I think at first I was in shock like anyone would be. I went through the angry phase and came out of it no worse for wear. I am looking at this change as a positive thing. I am looking forward to returning to work, hopefully next week if the doctor clears me. I figure things can only get better from here.

Thank you for your support. I kept the everything about the divorce for over 2 months before I said anything to anyone. Thinking that I could make everything would get better. I was a fool to think that because he did not want that and relationships are 2 people working together, not 1 person.

I think you hit it right on...it takes two baby. I was really in love with my first wife when she left me, I wanted to keep working at it but she didn't. It's always hard when you want it to work and the other person doesn't. I have a friend whose husband left her about 1 year ago, and now she is embracing the change and she is finally doing all the things she wanted to do in life. It doesn't take away the pain, but maybe this is the start of something different for you.
