Well, fuck me sideways, I have a friend.

I made a trip today to the altar of consumerism known as WalMart. I had hoped to get myself a groovy (read: cheap) digicam so I could post the results of my parents little genetics experiment.

Wrongo.

Maybe I should take a computer class or something. Apparently the driver doesnt meet XPs logo requirements, whatever that means. But those folks at microsoft sure have a way with words:

"Continuing your installation of this software may impair or destabalize the correct operation of your system either immediately or in the future"

So, even if all went well, there would forever be a pall cast over my camera-using experiences. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but certainly when I least expect it, my innocent looking little camera will destroy my computer, shoot my dog, burn my apartment, steal my job, and have nasty sex wih the woman I love. It probably would work then, too, and record it, the conniving little bastard....
