He was the owner of the True Image Tattoo Parlor in New Kensington.According to New Kensington Police, Croney was shot in the face at close range during an argument in the rear of the tattoo parlor on Friday afternoon.The suspect, identified as 44-year-old Christopher Patterson of Vandergrift, was arrested at the scene.Christopher Patterson (Photo Courtesy: Westmoreland County Jail)“The argument became physical,” said New Kensington Chief Tom Klawnski on Friday night. “At one point, someone separated them. They began arguing, started fighting again, and then according to eyewitnesses, Patterson pulled a handgun and shot Croney.”An autopsy is being performed today.Meanwhile, New Kensington Police say they plan to upgrade the charges against Patterson.
