What have you been up to lately?

I don't get it with you, you should be a lady magnent. You are a pretty rad guy who is funny, smart and in a really good job situation...you probably even have a hammer in your pants.

You need to get yourself out there and meet new people, working and dreaming is never going to lead you to her...this is advice I need to do as well.

Club Rio sounds freaking awesome. There are a few small venues in Boston that are still kickin' that have that small scene vibe, where everyone knows each other. Providence RI had some really great trashy venues that are all closed now

There used to be a club called The Milky Way that was all retro and had a bowling alley and lounge. It's been one of my secret dreams to open a music venue someday and I'd really want it to have a bowling alley

As for the girl of your dreams, I've got a guy like that. Only he actually exists and was even interested in me, but I totally blew it. I was so nervous every time he was around that I acted like a frigid bitch and eventually he gave up I haven't seen him in almost a year and I still have dreams about him and can't fucking forget him.

I hope she's out there for you somewhere!

I love Firefly. I still can't believe it only ran for one season Boo.

As crazy as it sounds, I've never held a job for three years! I max out at just over 2.5, which is crazy at my old age. I'm glad you are happy enough to stick around! That's always a good sign. It's taking all of my willpower not to rant to you about my current job. Grrrr.

Glad your customer service woes were solved! I'm having Comcast issues at the moment, but I don't even wanna deal with it.

You are definitely correct about the job. Unfortunately, as a person in a creative field, there really aren't many opportunities for me. As for my parents, I definitely think they're working the same angle as your Dad. My parents also spent much of my childhood carting us around learning specialists trying to figure out what was wrong with us. They have such shitty self esteem it's like they can't believe they managed to create two intelligent children. Though I admit, I'm glad they care too much, rather than not at all.

What have you been up to these days?

You are a brave man. My ten year reunion was this year, but I didn't bother going. My class had no school spirit. We barely even raised money for a prom. So I doubt too many people showed up to the reunion. And I will admit, I have a total chip on my shoulder and given my current financial and career situation I'm feeling too shit to go hear about how all the vapid mean girls are now trophy wives with McMassions in the burbs. Not that it's a life-style I envy, but I'm working my ass off to get ahead and I'm surrounded by people who seem to just have things handed to them. It's starting to make me a tad bitter.

I hadn't noticed the price of electronics had gone up that much Boo.


Glad you have found a new job that makes you happy! While I know very little about you, you seem like a pleasant and hard-working person and it certainly seems like you put in a lot of hours. So I'm glad you're in a better place now!

I think Tater Tots are just one of those foods where the less you know about how they are made the better they taste. Then again the only "good" tater tots I've ever had were gourmet and infused with truffle oil and sea salt. Pretty sure that's the only time I've eaten them since grade school.

How's life, aside from pondering the adhesive qualities of Tater Tots?

My former roommate was a bit of a junk food connoisseur and convinced me to try them.
