Anyone else get really picky as they get older? It's so easy to date when you're a kid, nothing really matters besides having fun. Now that I'm looking to settle down I find myself dwelling on things I never previously considered. Does she have a good career? Is she settled, or searching for something? Does she have hobbies? Does she keep a clean home? Will she be a good mom?
It's a two edged sword, because it's also a lot easier to meet people as I get older. I've finally gained some confidence and finally forgot that I used to be the "fat kid".
I've gone on 5 dates with 5 girls over the last two weeks, none of which have caught my interest. Going to try this one more time tonight, hopefully we hit it off. If we don't I think it's time to take a break from dating.
