hey shorty, when i saw your worry
i knew you were in a hurry.

so much pain, so much sadness,
three little words were the only signs of happiness.

i dont know what happened after court
but i guess its hard to break out of the tomb.
lucky times three, trucker code roger i copy.
its funny, kenny and gino's pizza shop you fled
there's enough pain to fill an ocean red.
songs by kc and jo jo could never fill you.
escape to upstate, come back anew.

death becomes you-
nah, death becomes them
life is in you.
they say you look too young
but you've seen more than a son of a gun.
old habits die hard, but soon those will be gone.
done and finished
then you'll be nourished
with food for your soul
no longer full of holes
creative energy that flows from your heart plays
through your fingers
like a potter and her clay,
that'll be your heyday.

beautiful spirit
lover of life
share with us your stories
they will delight,
shock, awe, and mesmerize
capture us in a web with your
words and your eyes.

sometimes i think we live our lives like we are trying to fix a broken mirror. we pick up the shards of glass trying to recreate the smooth full image to reflect ourselves. the problem is, we end up losing some shattered pieces of glass, or use too much glue and pick up dirt and other bits as well. you'll never get that polished look back. in the end, all we've got is a mosaic of fragments of jagged glass that each individually reflect if we look closely enough. if we are too close, we can only see each fragment and the gaps between fragments. when we step back and look, then we can see our whole image on the whole mirror, full of a whole lot of other stuff - but its still a reflection. we get so caught up examining ourselves up close while living the daily rat race that we lose ourselves in the process. we rarely take a moment to step back and look at all the fragments of experiences we have as a whole, because if we did, we'd see the bigger picture for ourselves.

What a wonderful journal entry. Truly. biggrin

And... my friend... she's sort of a tool. I try not to take her too seriously.
