Good night last night. Small crowd, most turned in early. But that gave me time to run around and play, and then Miss Katt and roomates came by just in time for my closing set.
Dinner with cute bartender, whom I decidedly so *really* like.
Spontanious midnight vanilla ice cream party.
Hung out with said bartender after the club for a while despite being one sleepy bean. But it was nice, it was the first time I was able to hang out with her outside the bar. And we talked. I must say, it's really nice when someone understands that you just want to be careful, or rather need to be careful. I haven't dated for several months because prior to that I found myself in several rush-crash-burn relationships. I was a rebound girl twice, and we all know that's not fun. (I'm rather understanding though, so I'm friends with these people still) I don't want to just jump into anything before. Before I had this "jump in with two feet, you never know unless you try" type motto, now it's "put your feet in and get a feel for the water, if it feels right, go for a swim" No more tumbling in and out of relationships for me... I will from now on be old fashioned and try and take things slower... as to not hurt anyone or myself.
I want to swim.
