It's 2am. Chill xmas eve, it was enjoyable. Spent with people I love, laughs throughout the day, I'm covered in head to toe in Hello Kitty apparel (litterally!), Eddie Izzard, and not feeling unwelcomed by an evil Grandfather. Thankfully, on xmas day, Breakfast is at an Aunts house, and dinner is at another Aunts house... With Mom in town I won't have to step one toe over the threshold of his house.... grant it I love and adore my Grams, he's a bit more difficult to deal with.
I think Mum is actually going to join me at my Aunts house. It will be odd, in a way, being that my parents divorced when I was two months old. And dinner being on my Fathers side... but Mum has remained good friends with his family as well as him through the years.
And I'll get to see mah cousin Shannie!
Gotta get up at 6:30. To which I know i'll reset the alarm for 7, then i'll hit the snooze button and eventually get up with 10 minutes to spare, slapdash some eyebrows on and hit the road...
Needless to say, I'm kind of nervous about driving my not-in-so-great-shape-of-a-car all the way to Los Banos... I figure if it can make it to the city & back once or twice a week on top of back and forth to work almost every day...i'll be ok. I won't have a phone on me which makes me a little paranoid, but I'm sure i'll manage. I wont drive as fast, and i'll stop half way and take a break...
I know a lot of people are going through rough times, but hopefully tomorrow everyone will have a moment to have something to smile about. Something to be thankfull about.
...and for those traveling tomorrow. Travel safe. Be patient.
