I saw House of a Thousand Corpses Today. I thought it rocked but everyone I went with seemed to vote it unanimously a disapointment. I prefer to think they just didn't get it. I mean, they thought it would be scary! When was the last time you saw a horror movie and were scared? 12, 13 years old? The way I look at it, horror means entertainment, not frightening, and in that sense the movie won out; full force, I was smiling through most of it, therefore, it was wel worth the $8 I paid. Good limes. If only for me.

There are way too many movies I go see and think they are amazing only to have them shot down by friends. I still have a tough time selling Mulholland Drive to people. They just have no clue. But I get it, I mean... people take things too literally and are often too afraid to come to their own conclusions. Everyone wants CliffNotes versions. Tis sad.
