If truth is subject to personal perception, then it negates the possibility of objective truth. If this is so, then no one is really "right" or "wrong." As such, individuals like Hitler and Saddam can very well rationalize their behavior as merely promoting their own conception of truth. I find this disturbing. I am much more inclined to believe that there MUST be a definitive set of truths that exist -- unalterable, and viable in all circumstances. Perhaps this search for ultimate truth is why religion plays such an important role in so many individuals' lives.
