Would you bother someone who obviously doesn't know you? Who's obviously busy and wants to be left alone? Would you ask a stranger to buy you illegal drugs? When they said no, would you continue to dog their footsteps like a git? Would you then part company with them by offering a cheap insult? Would you like to get your face stomped in by someone who knows how? Really well? Me neither. Some loser named Matt did though. Lucky for him I'm non-violent, I guess. Why are people so stupid?

People are so stupid because - aw hell, I dunno. This culture we live in now has raised being stupid to the status of coolness. It's hip to be stupid. It's cutting edge to be a moron. There's nothing left, we've done all the other states of being, now it's stupid's turn. Feh. I'll have none of it.
I'm getting kind of fed up with this site too. Everything centers on alcohol - I got sooo drunk last night, let's go out and get drunk, did you see how drunk so-and-so was last night, etc. etc. blah blah blah. I took myself off the SGPDX group because no one there seemed interested in any event that was not centered on alcohol. So screw 'em. I don't have time for such nonsense, dammit.
Want me to do a binding spell on this Matt moron??
You're right about divination working in hindsight. If you walk around all day "looking" for whatever might happen to happen, it's probably not going to happen (a watched pot never boils, etc.). But it's nice to get a "feel" for what's out there and go from there. The trick is to NOT think about it all the time (difficult for me!).
Thanks for the kind words re the other stuff. I don't want my dad to have Alzheimer's. We're going over there on Sept. 13, so will keep everyone posted. As for the alcohol, yeah, I hear you. I don't really like being around drunk people, though, so it might not work for me. My god, what am I doing here????
