Say, hey! Today's the luckiest day of the month for me. If you believe in that junk.
-------------
To wit: the first thing I see this morning as I leave my lovely apartment is the only girl who ever really, truly broke my heart. Is that a bad thing because I was instantly transported back to the realm of pain and sorrow I've been slowly emerging from? No! Of course not... it was the oportunity for my imagination to be sparked.
I prefer not to live in a world where everything that is has been explained. Rather I prefer to live in a world of mystery, magic, and wonder. It makes life more bearable to know that not everything is rational, because not everything is rational, some things are mysterious and warrant the respect to leave them that way. If you fail to understand me (what I'm saying), if you choose to misinterpret me, then at least know this: I speak from the heart.
To illustrate: It is possible to love a person you don't know, and it's not wrong to feel love (don't mistake me when I say love, I don't mean obsessive infatuation which is not a healthy. Real love is healthy, though it can be misplaced). Anyone who tries to tell you otherwise and isn't happy for what you feel is a victim of societal mores who probably didn't bother to think beyond what they're told by the ubiquitous 'they' who tell us what is right and wrong. There is no 'they', no one is at the driver's wheel, life is precisely how you choose to create it, and you'd be best to make it a livable choice for you and for others. Or perhaps those who nay-say the mystery of ungoverable hearts just never had the good fortune to love another human being in that way. I won't let them rain on my parade. Life is more beautiful than 'they' would have me believe.
