I meant to get back here sooner with the update on my move and whatnot. I just haven't really had the proper chance and i was kind of slightly bummed for the last week because i have been having so many problems with finding an apartment for myself due to the eviction i have on my record from my ex shitty roommate four years ago. :-(
Butttttt. I finally found something. It's most definitely not the best ever .. and it's a little overpriced for what it is .. but they're accepting me .. and so i'm not being picky. Threw down a deposit and i'll be moving in as soon as i get paid next friday. So super stoked.
But .. only problem is figuring out how i'm going to fill it with stuff to make it live-able. Since i came here with absolutely nothing .. i have to start from square one again. Towels, kitchen stuff, bedding, etc. I really need to start playing the lottery.
If you really wanna help a brother out with a housewarming gift, i made a little mini gift registry for myself to eventually start ordering from on bedbathandbeyond.com (gotta order stuff since i don't have a car to be able to go shopping). So my move went well. I've been here for .. three weeks? Haven't really done anything exciting besides walk my ass off around town. Still learning where things are. Still have to eventually hit up the world famous nightlife but .. that can wait until i finally have the chance. I sure could use a drink, though. :-P
Jaxy and mike have been more than welcoming to me staying at their place while i find my own. I started working at my new place last week. All well on the work front. All my new co-workers are pretty awesome .. but the customers are a completely different story. Ugh.
Ummmm. Hmmmm.
I went skydiving last monday. That was pretty fan-fucking-tastic. So glad i finally did it, and now i'm refusing to ever travel somewhere again without booking a skydiving trip while there. When i hit the lotto .. i'm totally buying all the equipment and becoming a certified skydiver. Totally.
Nothing really else too exciting to chat about as i haven't done much. Doing my best to conserve money and whatnot.
Responded to an ad on craigslist for a big modeling gig .. was communicating with the dude a whole lot. He said i was perfect for it .. was supposed to send me a contract yesterday and come meet me on sunday to get the ball rolling .. and well .. total flake. Didn't send the contract yesterday .. and now he's ignoring my texts. I hate assholes. Was promising me good money to get back into lingerie modeling. I was so excited since i was getting the modeling itch again .. and looking forward to the money. Dick. :-(
