I've been commissioned (without pay of course) to draw panda versions of my coworkers. ok not really but more or less I'm getting requests....its fun. But odd. I don't understand the panda obsession at my work.... and now to what is really on my mind:
ya know at this point, I'm quite convinced that I'm only writing nonsense here for myself...maybe as a way to slap myself with some nice cold reality without actually having to physically pick up the closest blunt object, (in this case, either my wacom tablet or a can of pledge: clean & shine), and beat myself till i'm dizzy with blood in my ears. I can almost hear the echo as I'm writing this. I'm intrigued with the whole blog thing...do people really give a shit and spend time out of their days reading the mindless crap people have to say? ok ok ok, no I'll admit, I read a few, yes, well but those people are interesting, and usually have interesting things to say, even if they are saying really nothing...at least nothing that can actually benefit anyone. Although occasionally you do learn somethings, so its part education, part entertainment, but most of the time It's like reading someone's journal, someone you don't even know...somehow that is exciting? Reality is boring, so I guess a crazy person's journal is probably not boring. I'm saying this because i know, no one is reading this. Which is a good thing. We need more people spending their time being constructive and creative. Ooooooh no, here is where I stick my foot in my mouth. The end.
Back to homework now. soooooooo exciting. bet you're wondering what it is? no probably not...maybe I'll go to the gym afterwards or clean my bathroom? whoooooah cliffhanger! bet you don't know whats going to happen next! Tune in next week folks!!!! Maybe i'll get an oil change and have a hard day at work? whoooo knows.

Perhaps people find it reassuring that everyone goes through the same day to day routine that they do? I suspect that a lot of folk have the idea that everybody else is leading a far more interesting existence.
well I make miniature prosthetic paws for kitten amputees, so my homework was to make little pink ones with blinking LED lights in them that flash when they run all nimbly bimbly. NO, THIS IS A LIE. Why? because that would be sooooooo much more interesting than animation homework. I'm currently on my last quarter at Animation Mentor (.com), which is a portfolio class so I'm polishing a previous assignment where this 3d character (model provided by them, animated by me), is swinging a gun around and lip synced to an audio clip of Bruce Camplbell I jacked from Army of Darkness. Next one will be cleaning up a shot I did with multiple characters using audio from Shaun of the Dead. They were originally character acting, body mechanics, and lip sync exercises.
anyway, thanks for throwing some "2cents" in there
