my birthday was fun. my evening invloved a pub, a cover band playing random good music and a treck home through the woods in freshly fallen snow. it was good times.
i love Jgger-Bombs (Steve looks like his isn't going down very smoothly...
today i paid off my credit card.
we were pulled into a meeting at work and were told not to surf the net during office hours anymore. they were perfectly nice about it. no one is in trouble that i know of. sucks though.
i bought tickets to Tiger Army for when they're coming in May. i'm pretty damn excited. They're playing with the Unseen and the Creepshow. the last time i saw them it was with Rancid two years ago. good bands very seldom play here so i have to keep a very close watch for ticket sales because they sell out quickly.
i just got back from the Bytown theater. they play independant and foreign films. i saw the World's Best Commercials 2007. Some were really freakin funny, and some just made you think. Here's an example:
Children see. Children do.
i'm going to shop around tomorrow after work for somewhere to have my car windows tinted. i bought a 2003 Honda Civic Sport last year. when i bought the car, i told myself i'd never do anything to it that would make people think "spoiled rich kid living with the parents who gave them a car". That's what people think in Ottawa when they see Civics. i am not spoiled or rich. i do not live with my parents. i jsut want to have a cute little sporty-ish car with tinted windows and a custom paint job. isn't that sad?

hmm... that picture is from November before winter really hit us. i'll have to take a picture tomorrow to show just how much snow we've been dealing with here this winter.
cheers and beers kids!

I am glad you had a good time. That is a really good commercial. It seems familiar but I know I have not seen it. A Civic is a spoiled kids car? That seems weird to me.
