I had an anxiety attack on my way home from work on Tuesday. I had to pull over at a random parking lot and call a friend to pick me up. My friend happens to be in nursing at school and ended up taking be to the hospital. After lying on the floor in a ball crying and shaking in the waiting room with gross ozzing people for two hours, they admitted me for a night of happy medicine.
I'm fine now. It was work and the stress of my job that finaly caught up to me and I just freaked out. It was weird how all of a sudden I went from being fine/normal to hospitalized. My boss gave me the rest of the week off to recharge and we're addressing my concerns at the office right away. He's hiring an assistant for me and taking off some of the workload...
*our office merged with another company and the're office administrato quit when it happened. I was asked at the time of the merge to take on many more responsibilities (that was fine) but I got stuck doing double my normal amount of work, plus her amount of work all at once. Basically I was doing 2.5 people's jobs at once.
So I'm fine but it was quite the week for me.
Last night I went to get a coffe and they poured a heart onto the whipped cream and it just made my day totaly better. It's amazing how simple things can change your outlook.
tee-hee!
