I'd just like to brag a little: I've been highland dancing for 17 years, travelling all over the world every summer for dance festivals and I've been able to perform for some pretty cool people. Last year I decided to quit dance because I didn't have the time anymore and I felt *shivers*...old.
I use to compete all the time and a few months ago a friend asked if I'd compete in the duet cometition with her and I hesitantly agreed.
Going back to class and being around the girls reminded me of how much I missed dancing!
Wednesday night was the competiton and we 'effin won bitches! 1st place!

I'm going to see Metric in Kingston tonight after work! So excited!

I'm slightly retarded bacause as I write this; I've realized I forgot my camera at home and have no time to get it before we leave! Shitters.

Last night I was in a weird mood and decided to make green cupcakes.

I'm clearly not a talented artist but if you look closely, there's a green turtle cupcake! YAY!

This weekend happens to be one of the weekends where I have a gazillion things to cram into two and a half days. I'm going to be pooped!
