So I actualy took the "plunge" and bungee jumped! It was the most awsome experience I've ever had! I went second just so I was sure the rope wouldn't brake (i'm such a great friend) It took me about 2 minutes to convince myself I was going to jump. Once you leave the egde you have no choice so it wasn't bad. The hardest part was the first fall and then the rope recoiling was a little scary, but the rest was awsome! The adrenaline I felt was intense and I'm certainly doing it again for sure!
I'm reading "I'm with the band -confessions of a groupie" by Pamela Des Barres. I suggest this book to any Lady who needs a great pick me up for the summer!
Bluesfest is on right now in Ottawa. Last week I saw Van Morrison, Bob Dylan and City and Color. Tonight is Sarah Harmer and Michael Franti; tomorrow night is Leahy and the White Stripes. Theres's a few more bands later next week I want to see... I love Bluesfest cause I get to see bands that aren't my "top favs" and it takes me out of my comfort zone. Good times.
I heard on the radio this morning that Jack from the White Stripes loves to re-upholster furniture and it was / still is his passion. He used to work at an antique store and before they went on their current tour; he hid 100 special edition DVD's in antique furniture. These DVD's contain songs that will never be played in concert and special footage; waiting to be discovered years from now when / if the buyer decides to re-upholster them.
I'm not a huge fan of the White Stripes, I don't own their CD's and I wouldn't have gone to see them in concert if they weren't playing a Blusfest )thank god for festival passes!)... When I become famous; I'm going to do something like that.

Bluesfest sounds pretty cool. I go to the Newport Folk Festival most years for the same reason. I saw Bright Eyes there a couple years ago and I have really gotten into his music since then. Some of the acts are just fun to watch even if you would never be caught buying their CDs. I particularly like bluegrass music in concert, but would never buy a CD (except for a couple of Nickel Creek CDs that were given to me).
How was Sarah?
I love the day of the dead skullie too!!
You have such good taste!
