So Sg land, an update is in order!!!
Hellkat was great, not as busy as it usually is but fantastic nontheless! The band were great, I'm planning to put them on at the UK Turbojugend event i'm planning in February, if you like angry garage rock/hardcore you should check them out! (Lucifer Star Machine), the night ended with 8 of my closest friends dancing to Age of Pamparius in a very drunken manner! Got in at 3.50am, got to bed at 5am
Sunday, I really didn't want to get up, hangover headache was horrific, and I had alcohol warmth!- alarm woke me up at 11, had shower, made my dad a bday card that had a pint glass with a scroll over it reading canals and camra, got dressed than got on a bus to get off go to spar for breakfast pan au chocolat and a hot chocolate with a bottle of sparkling water and got on another bus, an hour and a half later I arrived at my parents house. It was lovely and sunny, I got a dress that i'd bought through the post to open (lip service green pvc army dress) and sat down to a cup of tea and chips and dips, dad opened his presents (coal tar soap, camra real ale glass and a ben sherman shirt) then we had to sit through the United vs Chelsea match, then we headed off for a curry- We always end up going to the same place (even for our Christmas dinner, yes I have curry for christmas dinner)- but the food is really great and all the staff know us, we sit at the same table every time. My dad got merry, then merrier, then drunk then very drunk, I got a doggy bag for my boy then we headed to my grandma's. I love my grandma, she's ace- used to sing for the troops in the war and is man mad, she looks good for an 83 year old, but she is losing the plot a little, she always says how glamorous I look- but I was wearing one of my vintage dresses and my new cardi so I felt nice! after that I got dropped off at home, and vegetated on the couch for hours watching tv but not, if you know what I mean!
Monday was alright I spent lunchtime adding reviews to my Qype. Tuesday the day lasted forever, there was a coffee and cake sale for Macmillan at 10am, Lots of yummy cakes Millionaire squares, flapjacks, tiffin, dark chocolate and peanut cookies I bought a handful! all for charity
Today has been good, there was a nice laid back vibe in the office, and had beans and cheese on toast for dinner- yum! Tommorrow night i'm going to see the comedian Doug Stanhope with my b/f and some friends, I'm totally living for the weekend- I wish i could go to the tattoo convention to meet some sg's but I'm totally skint! I do have other plans and I'm sure it'll be fun! role on Monday...PAYDAY!!!!!!
